Bakti Engineering Works & Service, established in March 1, 2000, operates in Keningau district, which is owned by “Bumiputera” company. The company provides services in the engineering industry in the repair of motor vehicles. The owner was a former engineer at a large engineering company, which is Kim Hoi Engineering Sdn Bhd. The owner of Bakti is from Tawau, the second son from seven siblings, come from needy families and have low education but can managed to capture higher skills quicker with the helper and strong support from the top management of the company. After 20 years of knowledge and experience he get from that company, the owners decided to open their own business similar to the business carried on by the Kim Hoi Engineering Sdn Bhd.
During the beginning of the business, it has only two employees. The person who performs engineering work is the owner and his close friend because the business is still not able to pay the salaries to many workers and it lasted for several years. Although the business has only two employees but they managed to work well without any negative comments from the customers. When this business was stabilizing, the owner has brought his siblings, who also engineers and skilled experts in machinery to assist in developing the business.
Day by day, the business is growing and the owners were able to buy the machines where previously only rented. The premise is not the ownership of the company but rented with rents paid RM 2000.00 per month. While the machines are used to run the business is also rented a total of RM4000 per month. It continues until the situation becomes stable. This went on for about 6 years. In 2006, the company began to enter a stable phase where the company is able to buy and own the machines are initially being rented and owned full service engineering. In 2010, the owners have decided to buy the land where business is carried on site. This has further strengthened the business and has brought business to a new era.
Nowadays, the service has established several companies in different business areas of Consecrated Metal Industries SDN BHD, Bakti Plantation and Contractors LTD.

The heavy vehicle repair services are available to all PETROL & DIESEL engine vehicle. The scope of their work is service overview, the work knocks & body painting, wire ring, transmission and supply of spare parts.
